Piece is an homage to Bill Picket, a famous Black Cowboy of the American west. That popularized the Steer wrestling, also known as bulldogging technique for rodeoing. Using the space pattern ‘fill’ in the bulls horns the idea is an attempt to show the swagger and spirit in the bull. The pattern fill is rooted in specific symmetry, vectors, patterns, ideas, and colors specific to the American Southwest and elements mixed with modern African-American culture and themes. This pattern represents true grit and spirit.
